On Tennessee’s biggest stage, Kaliyah Burden delivered like a star.

Burden was the main force behind Sevier County’s championship push, helping lead the Smoky Bears to a 61-43 win over Cookeville in the TSSAA BlueCross Girls State Championship at Murphy Center in Murfreesboro. From the opening half, Burden brought the energy, physicality, and offensive urgency that helped Sevier County seize control of the game and never look back.

Kaliyah Burden Set the Tone Early
