The TSSAA has officially announced the 2025 Tennessee Titans Mr. Football finalists, recognizing the top high school football players in Tennessee across all nine classifications plus the Kicker of the Year award. These players were selected after the regular season based on on-field performance, academics, character, and nominations from high school head coaches and members of the media.

The list first began with a group of semifinalists released on November 6 and has now been narrowed down to three finalists in each classification. The winners will be announced on December 9 at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, where the best of the best from across the state will be honored.

Below is a full breakdown of every classification and the 2025 Tennessee Mr. Football finalists.

Class 1A Finalists

• Cole Brown – McKenzie
• Jaiden Bunch – Coalfield
• DaYon Cooper – South Pittsburg

Class 1A is loaded with versatile athletes who do a little bit of everything for their teams. These three finalists have been true tone setters, putting up big numbers while carrying major responsibility on both sides of the ball.

Class 2A Finalists

• Zach Groves – East Robertson
• Andrew Johnson – Fairley
• Jaydon Peete – Milan

In 2A, this group features reliable playmakers who kept their offenses moving all season. Whether it was making clutch plays in key region games or stacking weekly production, these three were at the center of their team’s success.

Class 3A Finalists

• Thomas Heffner – Melrose
• Quincy Mitchell – Forrest
• Graham Simpson – Westview

The 3A finalists bring a mix of high-level quarterback play and explosive athletes. Each of these players showed up week after week against strong competition and proved they belong in the statewide conversation.

Class 4A Finalists

• Caden Baugh – Greeneville
• Bronzden Chaffin – Upperman
• Thomas Manu – Alcoa

Class 4A is full of traditional powers, and the finalists reflect those standards. Manu has been one of the most disruptive defenders in the state, while Baugh and Chaffin have led playoff-ready programs with consistent, steady production.

Class 5A Finalists

• Kaden Long – Knoxville Central
• Cooper Newman – Sevier County
• Tay Starks – Munford

The 5A finalists are high-impact offensive players who were trusted in big moments. From downfield throws to key chain-moving plays, this trio helped carry their offenses through a long, physical season.

Class 6A Finalists

• Andre Adams – Antioch
• Kelvin Perkins – Southwind
• Craig Tutt – Oakland

In the state’s largest classification, you get a mix of elite athleticism and championship pedigree. Adams and Perkins bring big-play ability, while Tutt represents the standard of tough, playoff-tested football at Oakland.

Division II-A Finalists

• Jared Curtis – Nashville Christian
• Nix Fullen – Tipton-Rosemark
• TJ Ward – Nashville Christian

Division II-A features two finalists from Nashville Christian, which speaks to the level of talent and production coming out of that program. Fullen rounds out the group as a versatile threat who made his presence felt all season.

Division II-AA Finalists

• David Green Jr. – Boyd Buchanan
• Kaedyn Marable – BGA
• Shavar Young – Knoxville Webb

Division II-AA is stacked with star power. Marable is one of the top running backs in the state, Green Jr. powered a strong Boyd Buchanan run, and Young brings a complete skill set that shows up in every phase of the game.

Division II-AAA Finalists

• Briggs Cherry – Baylor School
• David Gabriel Georges – Baylor School
• Tyreek King – Knoxville Catholic

Division II-AAA might be the most star-studded group. Baylor lands two finalists after a huge offensive season, and King continues to prove he is one of the most dynamic players in the state at the highest level of private school football.

Kicker of the Year Finalists

• Tommy Bauchiero – Brentwood Academy
• Owen Maddox – Notre Dame
• Mikel Van Pelt – Gibbs

The Kicker of the Year finalists all delivered in pressure situations. From long-range attempts to game-changing extra points and field position, these specialists played a huge role in their team’s success.

Final Thoughts

The 2025 Tennessee Mr. Football finalists list is loaded from top to bottom. This group features elite quarterbacks, powerful running backs, lockdown defenders, explosive playmakers, and clutch kickers.
