Momentum Monday Week 11 Takeaways shines a light on two dominant Middle Tennessee powerhouses. Both Ravenwood and Nashville Christian capped their regular seasons unbeaten, building elite momentum heading into the playoffs.

Ravenwood 41, Brentwood 6 – Momentum Monday Week 11 Takeaways Highlight Chance’s Breakout

Ravenwood’s Maverick Chance exploded in the Battle of the Woods, leading the Raptors to a 41-6 statement win over rival Brentwood. In a two QB system with Femi Babalola, Chance showcased elite versatility and efficiency.

He finished 7-of-10 passing for 168 yards and two touchdowns, added eight carries for 81 yards and one rushing TD, and even caught three passes for 100 yards and another score. That is four total touchdowns and pure domination from start to finish.

Ravenwood improved to 10-0, clinching a region title and closing the regular season with confidence. The Raptors defense forced mistakes, controlled tempo, and gave Brentwood little room to operate. Brentwood moved to 6-4 and enters the playoffs looking to reset and regroup.

Takeaway: This was Maverick Chance’s signature performance of the season. It set the tone for Momentum Monday Week 11 Takeaways and confirmed Ravenwood’s balance, creativity, and championship mentality.

Nashville Christian 35, Friendship Christian 21 – Momentum Monday Week 11 Takeaways Feature Curtis’ Perfection

Nashville Christian closed a perfect 10-0 regular season with a 35-21 win over Friendship Christian, powered by five star Georgia commit Jared Curtis. He was unstoppable with 167 rushing yards and three touchdowns on six carries plus 121 passing yards on 9-of-16.

Wideout Zane Crampton led the way with 83 receiving yards, stretching the defense and giving Curtis another weapon. The Eagles extended their win streak to 20 straight, showing balance and maturity that championship programs are built on.

Friendship Christian fought hard early but could not keep up with Nashville Christian’s physicality and pace. When the Eagles needed big plays, Curtis delivered both through the air and on the ground.

Takeaway: Nashville Christian once again looked like the most complete team in Division II A. Confidence, consistency, and leadership make the Eagles one of the most dangerous teams in Tennessee.

Final Thoughts

This week’s Momentum Monday Week 11 Takeaways shows two programs locked in at the right time. Ravenwood’s offense looks dynamic with Maverick Chance under center, and Nashville Christian’s Jared Curtis continues to prove he is one of the best quarterbacks in the country. Both teams have the talent, poise, and energy to make serious playoff noise.
