MANCHESTER, Tenn. — For Tennessee Titans cornerback Alontae Taylor, giving back is more than something he does during the offseason. It’s part of who he is.
On June 6, 2026, Taylor returned to his hometown of Manchester, Tennessee, to host his annual youth football camp through The Chosen One Foundation, bringing together more than 100 young athletes for a day centered around football, mentorship, and community.
Before becoming one of the newest members of the Tennessee Titans, Taylor’s journey began just a few miles away at Coffee County Central High School. As one of the top athletes in Middle Tennessee, he quickly established himself as one of the area’s premier defensive backs before continuing his football career at the University of Tennessee.
At Tennessee, Taylor developed into one of the Volunteers’ most dependable defensive backs, showcasing the versatility and athleticism that eventually caught the attention of NFL scouts. His hard work paid off when he was selected in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft by the New Orleans Saints.
After establishing himself as a key contributor in New Orleans, Taylor returned home to Tennessee this offseason, signing with the Tennessee Titans and bringing his NFL career back to his home state.
But on Saturday, football wasn’t about contracts, statistics, or NFL success.
It was about the kids.
Throughout the day, Taylor worked directly with campers, teaching football fundamentals while encouraging confidence, discipline, and perseverance. Young athletes had the opportunity to learn from someone who once stood exactly where they stand today — a kid from Manchester with dreams of playing at the highest level.
The event served as another reminder of the mission behind The Chosen One Foundation: creating opportunities, inspiring young people, and investing back into the communities that helped shape future leaders.
For many of the campers, seeing a hometown success story return to pour into the next generation was a powerful moment. Taylor’s message was simple but impactful:
Where you come from doesn’t limit where you can go.
From Coffee County Central High School to the University of Tennessee, from the NFL Draft to the Tennessee Titans, Alontae Taylor’s journey has come full circle.
And through The Chosen One Foundation, he’s making sure the next generation has a chance to write its own story.
More Than A Camp. More Than A Game. It’s A Legacy.
